March Monthly Round-Up: An insight into a photography studio

March was another extremely productive month here at Future Proof. All of our photographers were fully booked with a range of exciting shoots. Some projects spanned several weeks, while others were shorter—but no less important.

Working on longer shoots gives us valuable time for in-depth pre-production and allows us to truly understand the product and the team behind it. It’s an approach we’re keen to build on even more in the future. On the other hand, shorter shoots keep us agile, challenging our team to think creatively and adapt quickly on set.

Pasture

Our longest project this month was with Pasture. While we can’t reveal too much just yet, we can say it was a hugely successful shoot.

Lucy and Paolo spent three weeks on location in Bristol, from the restaurant’s HQ to the farm where their produce is sourced.

Taking the studio on the road meant transporting lighting, props, backdrops, and styling tools across multiple locations. Adapting to ever-changing lighting and weather conditions pushed our team’s skills—and yes, all the equipment came back smelling distinctly of smoke.

Turn 6

From our largest project to one of our smallest—Turn 6 approached us for new imagery to support the launch of their alcohol-free bitter orange spritz.

This half-day shoot covered everything from pack shots to lifestyle imagery, all with a strong Mediterranean feel. Amber and Mads captured the brief beautifully, using soft lighting and warm tones to bring a sense of summer into the studio. Despite the shorter timeframe, we delivered a wide range of assets, and the client was extremely happy with the results.

Half-day shoots are a great option for clients with fewer products, smaller budgets, or tighter timelines—and we’re always happy to make space for them in our schedule.

Double Dutch

This month also saw the return of one of our long-standing clients, Double Dutch. While they usually work with Paolo, his time on location meant Ben stepped in—and delivered the full Future Proof experience.

We captured the brand’s signature bright, tropical vibrancy, alongside slow-motion video content that perfectly highlighted the effervescence of the product.

Still Sisters

This was another highly successful shoot, where we created a strong bank of pack shots alongside more creative lifestyle imagery for the client.

A key focus was selecting colours that complemented the can design. Still Sisters’ packaging is already iconic, so our aim was to make it truly stand out on camera. By incorporating flavour cues and elements like ice, we were able to build a visual story around the product—instantly enhancing its refreshing appeal.

We hope you’ve enjoyed seeing what we got up to in March. It’s been a varied and fast-paced month, but our team has stayed focused and brought their best to every single shoot. We’re incredibly excited to see what April has in store.
